Install the plugin

The plugin adds the REST API endpoints PF Create needs to read and edit your site.
Sign in to user.pfcreate.ca and go to Downloads. Click PF Create Pro Plugin to download the .zip file (v3.5.84).
In your WordPress admin, go to Plugins → Add New → Upload Plugin. Choose the .zip file and click Install Now, then Activate.
Once activated, a PF Create item appears under Settings in your WordPress admin sidebar. The plugin is ready — no configuration needed inside WordPress.
2

Create an Application Password

PF Create authenticates to your WordPress site using a WordPress Application Password — not your regular login password.
In WordPress admin, go to Users → Profile (or Users → All Users → click your username). Scroll down to Application Passwords.
Type PF Create in the Application Password name field and click Add New Application Password. Copy the generated password immediately — it’s shown only once. It looks like: xxxx xxxx xxxx xxxx xxxx xxxx
Note the WordPress username you’re logged in as — you’ll need it in the next step alongside the Application Password. Any user with Editor role or higher works. Administrator gives full access.
3

Register your site in the portal

Register your site in the PF Create portal to make it available to your AI assistant.
Sign in to user.pfcreate.ca and open the Services widget. Find the WordPress Sites section and click Add Site.
Enter your site URL (e.g. mysite.com or https://mysite.com — both work), your WordPress username, and the Application Password you just created.
PF Create verifies the connection by making a test REST API call. A green tick confirms your site is connected. If it fails, check that the plugin is activated and your site is accessible over HTTPS.
You can add unlimited WordPress sites. Each one appears in the Services widget and is available to your AI via the wp_url parameter in cms() calls.

All done!

What your AI can do

22 tools, one connection

Once your WordPress site is connected, your AI can create, edit, and publish content without you touching the dashboard. Here’s everything it can do.

Posts & pagesCreate, edit, publish, or draft posts and pages. Set categories, tags, featured images, and SEO metadata.
MediaUpload images, generate alt text, and manage your media library. Works with PF Create’s image generation.
Elementor page buildingRead and edit Elementor layouts at the element level. 95–97% fewer tokens than other WordPress MCP solutions.
Global site settingsRead and update site-wide colours, fonts, and Elementor kit settings.
llms.txt generationAuto-generates plain-text shadows of your HTML content so LLMs can read your site without parsing HTML.
Multi-site supportConnect unlimited WordPress sites. Switch between them in the same conversation using the wp_url parameter.
Troubleshooting

Connection not working?

ProblemFix
Red X on connection testCheck the plugin is activated. Confirm your site uses HTTPS. Verify the Application Password was copied correctly (no extra spaces).
Plugin not appearing after uploadEnsure you uploaded the .zip file directly (not a folder inside it). Try deactivating other plugins temporarily to check for conflicts.
Application Passwords section missingApplication Passwords require WordPress 5.6+ and HTTPS. If missing, your host may have disabled them — check with your hosting provider.
AI can’t find the connected siteSpecify the site explicitly: “use mysite.com” or include the wp_url in your prompt. If you have multiple sites, the AI defaults to the first registered.
Plugin update availableUpdates appear in WordPress Admin → Plugins like standard plugins. Click Update Now. No need to re-register the site after updating.

Ready to try it?

Once connected, ask your AI to draft a post, edit an Elementor section, or upload an image — in plain language.
