Images in the NOISK.AI reference library and the NOISK.ca image library are made available under the licences listed below. Each image carries one of them, and its licence terms apply whenever the image is used.
This document is a draft pending legal review.
No licence completely waives moral rights, personality rights, privacy rights, or other rights that people may hold in a work or in how it is used. This matters most for images depicting identifiable people. The Acceptable Use Policy for NOISK.AI or NOISK.ca explains what this means for images of real people.

In plain language: The image may be used, including commercially, but it cannot be changed, and a changed version cannot be shared.
Requirements: Credit the party named on the image record — the creator, the organisation that holds the work, or both. The image cannot be cropped, edited, filtered, recoloured, resized, converted or otherwise altered.
No AI use: The image cannot be used as input to any AI system — not for training, not as a reference or source image for generation or editing, and not for any other machine-learning purpose. This restriction comes from the licence; we are unable to waive it, and a subscription does not change it.
How it is delivered on NOISK.ca: One size only, exactly as the source provides it, with the licence written into the file’s metadata. Images larger than 1,280 pixels on the longest edge are available on Premium, because the free tier’s size limit could only be met by resizing, which the licence does not permit.
